MULTICOMP PRO Automotive EV Fuse, Bolt On, 68.5mm x 16.5mm, 70V - 125A

The MULTICOMP PRO Automotive EV Fuse is a high-performance component engineered to deliver best-in-class protection for modern electric and hybrid vehicles. Specifically designed for high-power battery charging and management systems, this bolt-on fuse ensures reliable operation and safety in demanding automotive applications.

With a 70V DC rated voltage and a maximum voltage drop of just 110mV, it maintains efficient power delivery. Its rated breaking capacity of 2.5kA at 70V DC provides robust protection against high short-circuit currents, safeguarding critical vehicle electronics. The fuse features an M8 bolt connection designed for a secure fit with a specified torque of 12Nm, ensuring a stable and vibration-resistant electrical connection.

Constructed for the automotive environment, it operates reliably across an extensive temperature range from -40°C to 125°C. Its fast-acting blow characteristic ensures a rapid response to overcurrent events, minimising potential damage to expensive battery systems and control units. This makes it suitable for both charging protection and Battery Management System (BMS) protection applications.

The product is part of the MP Auto Bolt AEY M8 Series and carries UL approval, meeting recognised international safety standards. Its compact, bolt-on design is ideal for integration into space-constrained engine bays or battery packs, providing a dependable safety solution for the next generation of electric mobility.
