Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch, 20.4mm, for Up to 16 Gauge Metal
Cut clean, burr-free holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge with Q.Max's 20.4mm punch. Heat-treated, anti-rust design for precision.
The Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch (20.4mm) is designed for cutting clean, precise metric-sized holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge thickness. Its special cutting design ensures even load distribution during use, producing burr-free holes that require no additional finishing. This makes it an ideal tool for professionals and DIY enthusiasts seeking efficiency and quality in metalworking projects.
Constructed with heat-treated cutting edges, the punch is built to last and features a black anti-corrosive surface finish to prevent rust, ensuring long-term durability even in demanding environments. All punches are sold singly, with the hexagonal key (MB, 8mm) required for operation to be ordered separately.
How to Use
- Thread the punch onto the hexagonal screw.
- Pass the screw through the pre-punched or drilled hole in the metal sheet.
- Position the die on top of the die nut.
- Screw the die nut onto the projecting hexagonal screw until it contacts the metal.
- Turn the screw with an 8mm hexagonal key to pull the punch through the metal, creating a clean hole.
Note: This process applies to punches up to 15mm. Larger punches (15mm+) have a simplified configuration, with the thread integrated into the punch itself, eliminating the need for a die nut.
