Safety is paramount with this fitting, which is fire-rated for 30, 60, and 90 minutes, complying with BS 476:20:1987 and BS 476:21:1987 standards. Additionally, it boasts an acoustic rating in accordance with ISO 10140-2:2010, helping to minimise sound transfer between floors and rooms for improved privacy and noise reduction.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the fast-fit terminal block equipped with heavy-duty loop in / loop out lever-type connectors, ensuring secure and reliable wiring. Steel ceiling fixing springs are included to guarantee a firm and stable mount within the ceiling.
This downlight is both IP65 and IP20 rated, making it suitable for various environments. It operates on a 230V input voltage and requires a GU10 light source (bulb not included), allowing you to choose the perfect colour temperature and brightness for your space. With downlight dimensions of H: 95mm x Ø: 86mm and a required ceiling hole diameter of 75mm, it is perfectly proportioned for standard domestic and commercial installations.
