The Stabila 196-2 Aluminium Spirit Level is crafted from extra-strong, lightweight aluminium, featuring a rectangular profile and a robust ribbed frame for enhanced durability. The removable end caps are equipped with anti-slip wall pads, allowing the level to be firmly held against a wall with one hand without slipping.

This spirit level is equipped with 3 precision vials—two vertical and one horizontal—ensuring accurate measurements in multiple orientations. The highly accurate vials provide measurements with a precision of 0.029° (0.5 mm/m), whether used in a normal position or overhead. The tool also features 2 milled surfaces for additional measuring accuracy, though the 180cm versions omit this feature.
