The TENMA 0.5mm Conical Soldering Tip (21-10148) is crafted from copper and features a durable alloy iron coating, ensuring optimal performance at temperatures between 360°C and 380°C. While designed for precision soldering, prolonged exposure to temperatures exceeding 450°C may reduce its working life to just 4–5 hours. Additionally, the chrome layer can degrade if temperatures reach 500°C, compromising its effectiveness.
