Timco Classic Multi-Purpose PZ Screws - A2 Stainless Steel - 5.0×40mm, 200 Pack
Corrosion-resistant A2 stainless steel screws with Pozi drive, ideal for wood, MDF & outdoor use. 200-piece pack.
The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws are designed for superior performance and durability, manufactured from A2 austenitic stainless steel (304 grade) for ultimate corrosion resistance. These screws are ideal for fixing to softwoods, hardwood (when pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF and plastic, particularly in corrosive environments such as those containing green oak or other materials with inherent corrosive characteristics.
Key Features:
- Double countersunk head – Reduces the likelihood of head shear and aids complete countersinking
- 40° deep single thread – Provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance
- Slash point on 25mm+ screws – Reduces torque and minimises timber splitting near edges
- Fully threaded up to 75mm – Ensures strong grip and stability in materials
- 70mm thread length for sizes 80mm and above – Offers reliable holding strength for longer fixings
Additionally, the Pozi (PZ2) drive recess ensures better torque application and reduces cam-out, while the sharp 25° point aids quick and easy insertion.
This 200-piece pack is perfect for professionals and DIY enthusiasts seeking corrosion-resistant, high-performance screws for demanding environments.
