The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws are engineered for exceptional performance across a variety of materials including hardwood, chipboard, MDF, plastic and thin sheet metal. Featuring a distinctive 25° sharp point and special thread design, these screws provide superior holding power while reducing installation effort.
These screws benefit from patented lubrication that enhances insertion speed and offers greater corrosion resistance. The 40° deep single thread ensures a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance, while the surface hardening (up to 750 HV) prevents torque shearing under load. The core hardness (up to 450 HV) improves ductility for better performance.
Key features include a double countersunk head to minimise head shear and facilitate countersinking, plus a single slash on screws 25mm+ to reduce wood splitting risk when fixing near edges. All screws up to 75mm are fully threaded, with 80mm+ lengths having a 70mm thread.
