The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws combine superior performance with exceptional corrosion resistance, making them ideal for a wide range of fixing applications. Manufactured from A2 Austenitic Stainless Steel (304 grade), these screws are perfect for use in corrosive environments or with materials that have inherent corrosive properties, such as Green Oak. Their excellent resistance to rust ensures long-lasting durability even in challenging conditions.
These screws feature a double countersunk head, which reduces the likelihood of head shear and ensures a flush finish. The 40° deep single-thread design provides high pull-out resistance for secure fixings in materials like softwoods, hardwoods (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastic. Lengths of 25mm and above include a single slash to minimise torque and reduce the risk of timber splitting when installed near edges.
