Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws PZ Double Countersunk A2 Stainless Steel
High-performance A2 stainless steel screws for corrosion-resistant applications, ideal for woodwork and outdoor structures.
The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws in A2 Stainless Steel (304 grade) combine corrosion resistance with exceptional mechanical strength, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications where durability matters. These screws are specifically designed to resist harsh environments, including marine and high-humidity settings, thanks to their austenitic stainless steel construction.
Features & Benefits
- Corrosion Resistance: The A2 stainless steel provides outstanding protection against rust and corrosion, making these screws suitable for use with materials like green oak or in coastal areas.
- Double Countersunk Head: Minimises the risk of head shear and helps achieve a flush finish with the surface.
- Strong Single Thread (40° Deep): Ensures high pull-out resistance and a secure hold when fixing into softwood, hardwood (pre-drilled), MDF, chipboard, or plastic.
- Surface Hardening (750 HV): Prevents torque shearing under pressure, while the core hardness (450 HV) maintains ductility.
- Single Slash Point (25° Sharp): Reduces insertion torque and prevents timber splitting, especially near edges.
- Convenient Packaging: This pack includes 30 screws (3.5 x 30mm), fully threaded for optimal grip.
Ideal for furniture assembly, decking, marine applications, and outdoor structures, these screws ensure long-lasting performance even in the toughest conditions.
