The double countersunk head ensures a reduced likelihood of head shear and aids in completing the countersinking properly, while the 40° deep single thread provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance.
For easier insertion and to minimize the risk of timber splitting, especially when working near edges, these screws feature a single slash on lengths 25mm and above. All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded, whereas longer screws (80mm and above) have a thread length of 70mm.
