Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws, PZ Double Countersunk, Stainless Steel, 5.0
Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws (5.0x40mm PZ double countersunk) for corrosion-resistant fixing in wood & plastic.
Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws offer superior performance and durability, made from high-quality A2 Stainless Steel. These screws are designed for applications requiring ultimate corrosion resistance, making them ideal for fixing to softwoods, hardwood (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastic. They are especially suitable for environments with corrosive conditions or when working with inherently corrosive materials like Green Oak.
Key Features:
- Double countersunk head: Reduces the likelihood of head shear and assists in the completion of countersinking.
- 40° deep single thread: Provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance.
- Surface hardened (750 HV) and core hardness (450 HV): Prevents torque shearing under load while improving ductility.
- Single slash on 25mm+ screws: Reduces torque and minimizes the risk of timber splitting when inserting screws near the edge.
