Timco Metal Fibre Cement Roofing Screws, Hex Head, 6.3x130mm, 50pk
Durable Timco hex head roofing screws for securing fibre cement sheets to light steel. Corrosion-resistant, 50pk.
The Timco Metal Construction Fibre Cement Board to Light Section Screws are high-quality fasteners designed for securing fibre cement profile sheets to light section steel (maximum 5mm thickness). These self-drilling screws feature a heavy-duty EPDM and stainless steel washer (BAZ washer) that ensures a water-tight seal, making them ideal for exterior applications.
These screws boast an exterior corrosion-resistant coating that withstands over 500 hours of salt spray testing, ensuring durability even in harsh weather conditions. The wings on the screws ream an enlarged hole in the roofing sheet, allowing for natural expansion and contraction of materials without compromising the integrity of the installation.
Key Features:
- Durable Corrosion Resistance: Exterior plating ensures long-lasting performance, even in coastal environments.
- Water-Tight Seal: Heavy-duty EPDM and stainless steel washer prevent water ingress.
- Self-Drilling Design: No pre-drilling required, saving time and effort.
- Hex Head: Provides excellent torque transfer for secure fastening.
These screws are commonly used to secure Big 6 roofing sheets, making them a reliable choice for both commercial and residential roofing projects. Their robust construction and high-quality materials ensure a secure and long-lasting hold.
