The Timco Solo Chipboard & Woodscrews are high-performance fasteners designed for use in timber, chipboard, and other man-made boards. These screws can also be used in masonry when paired with a plastic plug. The PZ (Pozidriv) recess ensures a secure and efficient drive every time, reducing the risk of cam-out.
A double countersunk head minimises the likelihood of head shear and aids in achieving a flush finish. The screws are wax-lubricated to improve insertion speed, provide extra driving torque, and enhance corrosion resistance. The single-thread design with a 40° deep thread offers high pull-out resistance, ensuring a firm and lasting hold.
The 25° sharp point ensures quick and easy starts while improving thread acceptance. All screws up to 75mm are fully threaded, while those 80mm and above feature a 70mm thread length.
