Timco Truss Clip - 47 x 110mm
Versatile Timco galvanised steel truss clip for securing rafters, trusses & timber joints. A robust multi-purpose structural connector.
The Timco Truss Clip is a versatile and robust fixing bracket designed to create secure and reliable connections in timber-framed structures. These galvanised steel connectors are essential for modern building projects, offering a simple yet highly effective method for joining timber components.
Engineered for strength, the primary application is to securely fix roof trusses, girders, and rafters to their supporting wall plates. This crucial connection ensures the structural integrity of the roof, providing resistance against uplift from wind and other lateral forces. Its design also makes it an ideal multi-purpose connector for general construction tasks, perfect for providing restraint wherever two timber members cross, such as in framing joints, decking, or pergola construction.
Fabricated from durable carbon steel with a protective galvanised finish, the clip offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its compact profile allows for a neat and unobtrusive installation, ensuring a strong hold without compromising the aesthetic of the timberwork. The pre-punched holes facilitate quick and easy fixing with standard nails or screws.
As a critical component in ensuring building safety and compliance, this clip is a trusted choice for carpenters, builders, and serious DIY enthusiasts. By providing a proven mechanical connection, it enhances the overall stability and longevity of the timber structure, giving you peace of mind that your project is built to last.
