Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews, PZ Double Countersunk, Zinc Plated (6 x 1¼”, 20
Timco twin-thread woodscrews (6x1¼
The Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews offer a traditional design with modern enhancements for fast, secure installation in soft timber or masonry applications (when used with plastic plugs). These partially threaded screws are crafted from C10-18 carbon steel for consistent quality and durability.
The double countersunk head significantly reduces the risk of head shear while facilitating easier countersinking. With 60° twin-threads and a parallel shank, these screws provide faster insertion speed while maintaining excellent pull-out resistance.
For superior performance under load, the screws feature surface hardening up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing, combined with a core hardness of 450 HV for improved ductility. The 25° sharp point with single lead start ensures quick penetration and optimal thread acceptance in wood.
Ideal for joinery, carpentry and general woodworking projects where strength and reliability are essential. Supplied in convenient 200-piece packs for professional or DIY use.
