ForgeFix ForgeFast Elite Wood Screws ZY 3.5x40mm, Box of 200
Premium ForgeFix wood screws with anti-friction threads and Elementech 400 coating – ideal for woodworking & DIY projects.
ForgeFix ForgeFast Elite Wood Screws offer superior performance with their innovative design and high-quality materials. These wood screws feature a Pozi-compatible drive, making them universally accepted and easy to use with standard screwdrivers.
The screws are designed for improved countersinking, thanks to their 6 underhead lobes, which reduce surface dust and enhance holding power. The reinforced countersunk necks further improve grip and stability, ensuring a secure hold.
Key features include:
- Anti-friction thread – Minimises timber splitting and reduces 'jacking' while improving drawing strength.
- Serrated thread – Enhances pull-out resistance and reduces insertion torque.
- Double cutting point – Accelerates drilling time and prevents wood dust clogging.
- Pierces 0.8mm steel – Versatile for wood-to-metal applications.
The 'Elementech 400' coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance, lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating is Cr6+-free and Salt Spray tested to 400 hours, ensuring long-lasting performance in interior environments. Perfect for woodworking projects requiring reliability and durability.
