These screws incorporate an anti-friction thread that minimises timber splitting, prevents 'jacking' or spinning of joined timber, and enhances drawing strength. The serrated thread ensures improved pull-out resistance and reduced insertion torque. A double cutting point allows for faster drilling, minimises wood dust clogging, and can even pierce 0.8mm steel.
Protected by the Elementech 400 coating, these screws boast superior corrosion resistance—lasting up to 6 times longer than standard zinc finishes. This environmentally friendly coating is free from Cr6+ and has been salt spray tested for 400 hours.
