ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw - M8 x 50mm, Zinc Plated, Pack of 10
Zinc-plated, grade 8.8 steel set screws (M8 x 50mm), compliant with DIN 933. Ideal for engineering and construction.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw is a robust fastening solution, crafted from grade 8.8 steel and zinc plated for superior corrosion resistance. These fully threaded screws comply with the DIN 933 standard, ensuring reliability and consistency in performance across various applications.
Zinc plating acts as both a protective barrier and a sacrificial anode, preventing oxidation and enhancing the screw’s longevity. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide forms a stable, non-reactive layer that preserves the integrity of the screw—ideal for environments prone to moisture or chemical exposure.
