ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw ZP M10 x 90mm, Pack of 10
Durable ForgeFix M10 x 90mm zinc-plated set screws (DIN 933) for high-strength fastening. Pack of 10.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw ZP M10 x 90mm is manufactured from grade 8.8 steel and features zinc plating for enhanced corrosion resistance. These fully threaded screws conform to DIN 933 standards, ensuring reliable performance in various applications. They can be paired with different nut types and washers for versatile fastening solutions.
Applications
These set screws are ideal for fastening multiple types of materials or securing into pre-tapped holes. They are widely used across engineering applications due to their strength and durability. The zinc plating provides excellent oxidation resistance, forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if the coating is compromised.
Zinc oxide (a byproduct of the plating) is a fine white dust that helps maintain the substrate's integrity and further inhibits corrosion, similar to the protective layers found on aluminium and stainless steel. This makes them perfect for environments where long-term durability is essential.
