ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws, 5.5 x 65mm, Pack of 100
ForgeFix TechFast CSK/Wing Screws for timber-to-steel. Fire resistant, TORX® compatible, pack of 100.
The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specifically designed for joining timber to steel frame buildings. Featuring innovative breakaway wings, these screws create a clearance hole to protect the thread from engaging with the timber while drilling through. The wings ream the hole and break off upon contact with the metal surface, allowing the thread to engage securely with the metal. This ensures a strong and reliable connection.
Equipped with a TORX® compatible insert, these screws allow for higher power transmission, making installation easier and more efficient. The recessed ribs provide improved countersinking for a cleaner finish. These screws are also fire and corrosion resistant, ensuring durability and longevity. They comply with all EU Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements, making them a safe and responsible choice for your projects.
