Forum Lighting Fixed Fire Rated Downlight Chrome

Forum Lighting Fixed Fire Rated Downlight Chrome is a fixed, recessed ceiling downlight with a 30, 60 and 90-minute fire rating, designed for installation within fire-resistant standard ceiling constructions. It features a chrome finish and a GU10 lamp base.

Overview

The downlight is constructed from die-cast steel, which provides strength and helps keep the fitting securely in place within the ceiling void. It uses PTFE cabling, a material known for its high-temperature resistance and low flammability. The fitting has been tested and deemed suitable for installation within 30, 60 and 90-minute fire-resistant standard ceiling constructions.

Key Features

• Fire rating suitable for 30, 60 and 90-minute fire-resistant standard ceiling constructions
• Die-cast steel construction with a chrome finish
• PTFE cabling
• IP20 rating for dry, indoor conditions, providing basic protection against touch and the ingress of small solid objects
• Designed for a GU10 lamp base

Lamp Compatibility

The fitting accepts a maximum of a 50W halogen bulb or its energy-efficient LED equivalent. The bulb is not included, so users can choose their preferred light output and colour temperature. LED bulbs offer a long lifespan and lower running costs.
