The Multicomp Pro 0.19mm Enamelled Copper Wire is a high-quality wiring solution designed for precision electronic applications. These solderable enamelled copper wires are coated with self-fluxing polyurethane, making them ideal for winding transformers, coils, relays, and magnet coils. The coating conforms to BS4520 Grade 2 (incorporated within BS6811 Section 1, Pt. 3), ensuring reliable performance.
Perfect for prototype wiring, PCB track repairs, and shorting links, this wire offers excellent conductivity and durability. Soldering requires a temperature range of 400°C to 480°C, and the enamel coating must be heated to at least 400°C for removal. The wire operates effectively at temperatures up to 120°C and has a voltage rating of 1.5kV.
Warnings: During soldering, the polyurethane coating may produce small amounts of toluene di-isocyanate (T.D.I.). Adequate fume extraction is recommended to ensure safety levels (below 0.02 ppm) are maintained.
Each 4-pack includes wires with a 0.19mm diameter, 0.0127mm² conductor area, and a reel length of 27m (88ft). The solid copper conductor ensures optimal performance in industrial, hobby, and educational settings.
