This wire conforms to BS4520 Grade 2 (incorporated within BS6811 Section 1, Part 3) and is ideal for prototype wiring, PCB track repair, shorting links, and coil forming.
To ensure optimal performance, a soldering temperature of 400°C to 480°C is required to remove the enamel coating. Each pack contains one reel each in Gold, Green, Pink, and Violet, offering versatility for colour-coding and organisation.
Applications
This wiring pencil wire is perfect for industrial applications, including electronics assembly and repair. However, note that during soldering, the polyurethane coating may produce small amounts of toluene di-isocyanate (TDI). Ensure proper fume extraction to maintain safety levels below 0.02 ppm.
