Timco Broaching Cutter - Short, 28x30mm, M2 HSS Steel
Timco short broaching cutter (28x30mm, M2 HSS steel) with TiAIN coating, ideal for heavy-duty drilling.
The Timco Broaching Cutter - Short is engineered for precision and durability in heavy-duty applications. Manufactured from high-grade M2 tool steel, it is specifically designed for drilling heavy gauge non-alloy materials when used with magnetic drills. The cutter requires a pilot rod to ensure accuracy and prevent drifting.
Key features include a Titanium-Aluminium-Nitride (TiAIN) coating, which provides 20% less friction and 20% greater hardness compared to standard Titanium Nitride (TiN) coatings. This ensures a significantly extended service life even under intensive use.
The cutter comes complete with a pilot pin for immediate use and is available in both short (30mm cutting depth) and long (50mm cutting depth) variants to suit various applications.
With a straight shank design and robust M2 High-Speed Steel (HSS) body, this broaching cutter delivers reliable performance, making it an excellent choice for professionals requiring precision and efficiency in their work.
