The Timco Metal Construction Screws are specially designed for attaching wood to light section steel (maximum 5mm thickness). These high-performance screws feature a coarse self-tapping thread with innovative wing-tip technology that reams out the timber. This allows the screw to achieve maximum RPM without overheating, ensuring a smooth and efficient installation process.

When the wings encounter metal, they cleanly break off, enabling the screw thread to self-tap into the metal surface. The screws are partially threaded and made from case & core hardened carbon steel with a zinc finish for excellent corrosion resistance. The countersunk head with ribs provides a flush finish, while the Phillips recess ensures secure driving.
