These screws feature a coarse self-tapping thread with wing-tip design, ensuring efficient installation by reaming out the timber to prevent burning out at maximum RPM. The wings break off upon contact with metal, allowing the thread to self-tap into the steel.
Constructed with a hardened carbon steel drill tip fused to an A2-304 austenitic stainless steel body, these screws offer excellent corrosion resistance and high load-bearing strength. The countersunk head with ribs provides a flush finish, while the Phillips recess ensures easy installation. Ideal for exterior applications where durability against the elements is crucial.
