The ABUS GRANIT™ Plus Padlock is designed to offer the highest level of protection against manipulation and forced entry. Its cylinder is inserted from the top, providing optimal resistance to drilling and pulling. The body and shackle are constructed from hardened alloy steel with a cataphoretic coating and rust-free components, ensuring 40 years of corrosion protection.
All GRANIT™ padlocks undergo rigorous testing, including a -40° freeze and impact test, and are resistant to bolt cutters, drills, and saws. This makes them ideal for securing high-value items or locations with a high risk of theft, such as warehouses, factory gates, containers, and lorries. They also meet the special requirements of insurance companies.
This close-shackle variant features an integral shackle guard to protect against tool attacks. It includes two keys, one of which is an LED-lit key for convenience in low-light conditions. The rekeyable cylinder (RK) allows it to be matched to an existing ABUS-Plus key system.
