Full bridge MOSFET driver for N-channel power MOSFETs. 5.5V to 50V supply, 90ns delay, AEC-Q100 qualified. Ideal for automotive applications.
The Allegro MicroSystems Full Bridge MOSFET Driver is designed for use with external N-channel power MOSFETs, supplied in a 28-pin TSSOP surface mount package. It features a unique charge pump regulator that provides full gate drive (greater than 10V) for battery voltages down to 7V, and operates with reduced gate drive down to 5.5V.
A bootstrap capacitor provides the above-battery supply voltage required for N-channel MOSFETs, whilst an internal charge pump for high-side drive enables DC operation at 100% duty cycle. The driver includes integrated diagnostics that indicate undervoltage, overtemperature, and power bridge faults. These diagnostics can be configured to protect power MOSFETs under most short circuit conditions.
Key Features
With robust protection features and a wide operating temperature range, this MOSFET driver is suitable for demanding automotive applications requiring reliable power bridge control.
