This board is built around the Renesas RA4M1 series microcontroller (R7FA4M1AB3CFM#AA0), featuring a 48MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4 microprocessor for enhanced computational power. It is paired with a dedicated ESP32-S3 Wi-Fi® module (ESP32-S3-MINI-1-N8), which provides both Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® connectivity via a built-in antenna. Communication between the main and wireless MCUs is managed by a logic-level translator, ensuring seamless integration.
A major upgrade is its expanded memory, offering 256KB of flash, 32KB of SRAM, and 8KB of EEPROM, providing ample space for more complex sketches and data storage. The board operates with a 5V logic level from the RA4M1, while the ESP32-S3 module runs at 3.3V. It supports versatile power options: via a 6-24V input through a barrel jack (connected to the VIN pin) or directly through the modern USB-C® port at 5V.
