BOURNS Radial Multifuse - 3A 30V

The BOURNS Radial Multifuse is a high-quality polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) resettable fuse designed to provide reliable overcurrent protection for a wide range of electronic circuits. Unlike traditional one-time fuses that require replacement after a fault, this innovative Multifuse automatically resets once the overcurrent condition is removed and the device cools down, ensuring continuous operation and significantly reducing maintenance costs.

Engineered for through-hole printed circuit board (PCB) mounting, the radial lead configuration allows for straightforward and secure installation. These fuses respond to overcurrent events by rapidly transitioning from a low-resistance state to a high-resistance state, effectively limiting the current to a safe level and protecting sensitive downstream components from damage.

Ideal for use in demanding environments, the Bourns Multifuse series operates reliably across a broad temperature range, typically from -40°C to 85°C. This makes it highly suitable for diverse sectors including consumer electronics, telecommunications, automotive systems, and industrial control equipment. The rectangular fuse shape and specific lead spacing are optimised for compact, space-constrained applications, delivering robust circuit protection without compromising on board real estate. Choose Bourns for industry-leading performance, consistency, and long-term reliability in circuit protection solutions.
