Dormer Solid Carbide Rotary Burr, Pointed Tree, 6.3 x 3mm
Dormer solid carbide rotary burr (6.3 x 3mm) for precision machining, metalworking, and deburring with enhanced durability.
The Dormer P813 Solid Carbide Rotary Burr features a bright finish with a pointed tree ball nose geometry, designed for skip flute grinding and increased strength at the centre. This design reduces the chance of swarf congestion and improves cutting action closer to the centre, making it highly effective for general machining. Produces double cuts for enhanced performance, while providing improved ease of control, a higher metal removal rate, and breaks swarf into manageable pieces.
Crafted with toughened and hardened steel shanks, this rotary burr ensures rigidity and strength, preventing bending and reducing vibrations for an extended tool life. Ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) tolerances, it offers excellent impact strength to withstand high forces and elevated temperatures without failure. Special brazing elements enhance braze strength, ensuring durability under demanding conditions.
Applications
This burr is ideal for precise machining, deburring, and shaping in various materials. Its robust construction and optimised geometry make it perfect for metalworking, fabrication, and industrial applications where precision and longevity are critical.
