This core bit is designed for rotary use only and must not be used in percussion or hammer mode. For optimal results, it requires a power drill with at least 850 watts, a safety clutch, and variable speed function. Note that diamond cores larger than Ø78mm should not be used with SDS Plus drills to prevent tool or adaptor damage. For the best performance, consider using a purpose-built core drilling machine.
