Faithfull Soft Grip Bevel Edge Chisel 13mm (1/2in)
Faithfull Soft Grip Bevel Edge Chisel: chrome vanadium steel with anti-slip handle for precision woodworking.
The Faithfull Soft Grip Wood Chisels are designed for both professional tradesmen and dedicated DIY enthusiasts. Each blade is crafted from drop-forged chrome vanadium steel, hardened and tempered to exacting standards, ensuring the cutting edge remains sharper for longer. The bevelled edge blade design makes these chisels perfect for precise work in tight corners and fine detailing.
The soft grip handle, coated with an anti-slip material, enhances user comfort and control during use. Additionally, each handle features a steel striking cap, providing durability and protection when struck with a mallet or hammer.
For optimal performance, a correctly sharpened wood chisel should have a double angle profile. The blade is ground to 25 degrees, increasing to 30 degrees at the cutting edge. For precise sharpening, using a honing guide (such as FAIHG) along with an oil, diamond, or whetstone is recommended.
This set includes 1 x Faithfull Soft Grip Bevel Edge Chisel (13mm/1/2in), offering both quality and practicality for a variety of woodworking tasks.
