ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Wood Screws 5x60mm, Box 150
High-performance exterior wood screws with 2,000hr corrosion resistance. POZI-drive, anti-split design. Ideal for coastal construction.
The ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Compatible Wood Screw offers exceptional performance with advanced corrosion resistance, making it ideal for both treated and untreated wood in harsh exterior conditions. Boasting a 2,000-hour salt spray test rating, these screws are designed to withstand coastal and extreme weather environments, ensuring long-lasting durability for residential and commercial applications.
- Elementech 2000 Coating: Provides superior corrosion resistance and lasts up to 30 times longer than standard zinc coatings.
- POZI-Compatible Recess: Ensures faster and easier installation with reduced drive torque.
- Double Cutting Point: Minimises splitting and drive time, even penetrating 0.8mm steel.
- Anti-Friction Thread: Prevents 'jacking' and timber rotation while reducing splitting.
- Serrated Cutting Thread: Enhances grip and pull-out resistance for a firmer fix.
These screws are CE-approved for load-bearing timber construction, making them a reliable choice for structural applications. Their non-chromate, Cr3+ zinc surface treatment is environmentally friendly while maintaining high corrosion resistance. The reinforced countersunk neck improves holding power, and the 6-angled lobes ensure clean and efficient countersinking.
