With 6 underhead lobes, these screws offer improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, while the reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power.
Key features include an anti-friction thread that reduces timber splitting, prevents 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and improves drawing strength. The serrated thread ensures improved pull-out resistance and reduced torque during insertion. Additionally, the double cutting point allows for faster drilling times and reduces wood dust clogging, while also being capable of piercing 0.8mm steel.
These screws are coated with Elementech 400, an advanced anti-corrosive metal finish that lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This coating is environmentally friendly, free from Cr6+, and has been salt spray tested to 400 hours for reliability.
