ForgeFix ForgeFast Pozi Wood Screws 6.0x80mm, Box of 100
High-performance ForgeFix wood screws with Pozi drive, anti-friction thread & corrosion-resistant coating. Box of 100.
The ForgeFix ForgeFast Elite Performance Wood Screws combine superior engineering with high-quality materials, making them an excellent choice for woodworking projects. These screws feature a Pozi-compatible drive, ensuring universal acceptance and ease of use with standard screwdrivers.
With 6 underhead lobes, these screws offer improved countersinking and reduced surface dust buildup, resulting in a neat finish. The reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power, ensuring a secure and stable connection between materials.
A key innovation is the anti-friction thread, designed to minimise timber splitting, reduce 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and increase drawing strength. The serrated thread further enhances performance by improving pull-out resistance while reducing driving torque, making installation quicker and easier. Additionally, the double cutting point allows for faster drilling speeds, resists clogging with wood dust, and can even pierce 0.8mm steel.
The 'Elementech 400' coating provides an anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating, free from Cr6+, has been salt spray tested to 400 hours, ensuring long-term durability even in challenging conditions. Ideal for interior use, these screws offer a perfect balance of strength, ease of use, and corrosion resistance.
