ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Wood Screws 5.0 x 120mm, Box of 100
High-performance ForgeFix wood screws with corrosion-resistant Elementech 400 coating. TORX® drive & sharp-pointed tip for secure fastening.
The ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Wood Screws are designed for elite performance, featuring a Torx® compatible drive for superior torque transfer and reduced cam-out. The screws' recessed ribs ensure smooth countersinking and minimise surface dust, while the reinforced countersunk neck enhances holding power for a more secure fix.
These screws boast a patented drill and drive thread that reduces timber splitting, prevents 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and delivers increased pull-out resistance. The sharp point ensures rapid bite and even allows for piercing 0.8mm steel, making them versatile for various applications.
Advanced Corrosion Resistance
ForgeFix screws are coated with 'Elementech 400', a high-performance anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating, free from Cr6+, undergoes rigorous Salt Spray testing for 400 hours, ensuring long-lasting durability even in demanding conditions.
