ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Wood Screws 5.0 x 70mm, Tub of 450
High-performance ForgeFast Torx wood screws with Elementech 400 coating. Anti-corrosive, 450 screws per tub. Ideal for interior wood projects.
The ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Wood Screws combine superior engineering with innovative features to deliver exceptional fastening performance. These elite performance screws feature a Torx® compatible drive (universally accepted) for better torque transmission and reduced cam-out, ensuring a secure and efficient fastening experience.
A patented drill and drive thread significantly reduces timber splitting while minimising 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber. This results in increased pull-out resistance and a far more stable fix. The sharp point ensures faster bite and can even pierce 0.8mm steel, making these screws highly versatile for various applications.
Key Features:
- Reinforced Countersunk Neck: Improves holding power and stability.
- Recessed Ribs: Enable improved countersinking and reduced surface dust for a cleaner finish.
- Elementech 400 Coating: An advanced anti-corrosive finish that lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. The coating is environmentally friendly, free from Cr6+, and has been Salt Spray tested to 400 hours.
- Universal Compatibility: Fits Torx® screwdrivers and bits for ease of use.
Each tub includes a Torx® compatible bit, ensuring you have everything needed for a seamless installation. Ideal for interior woodworking projects, these screws guarantee reliability, durability, and long-lasting performance.
