Zinc Plating Benefits
The zinc plating provides a protective barrier against oxidation, enhancing the screw’s lifespan. Zinc acts as a sacrificial anode, protecting the metal beneath even if the coating is damaged. The resulting zinc oxide layer further shields the screw from corrosion, similar to stainless steel and aluminium.
Pozi Drive Advantage
Unlike Phillips screws, the Pozi drive features four additional contact points, reducing the likelihood of cam-out and allowing for higher torque application. It is easily identified by the 45° embossed lines on the screw head.
