ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw M12 x 50mm, Zinc Plated, Pack of 5
High-tensile grade 8.8 steel set screws, zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Pack of 5, DIN 933 compliant.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw M12 x 50mm is manufactured from grade 8.8 steel, ensuring excellent strength and durability for demanding applications. The screws are zinc plated (ZP) for enhanced corrosion resistance, making them suitable for use in various environments without compromising performance. They conform to the DIN 933 standard, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
These set screws are fully threaded, providing superior grip and secure fastening in pre-tapped holes. The zinc plating acts as a sacrificial anode, protecting the underlying steel from oxidation and extending the product’s lifespan. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide forms a protective barrier that maintains the screw's structural integrity over time.
Applications
- Ideal for securing numerous materials, including wood, metal, and plastic.
- Suitable for fastening in pre-tapped holes, ensuring a strong and stable connection.
