Key Features
- Material: Grade 8.8 high tensile steel
- Finish: Zinc plated for corrosion resistance
- Thread Type: Fully threaded
- Standard: Compliant with DIN 933
- Pack Quantity: 2 screws
- Special Property: Acts as sacrificial anode to protect against oxidation when coating is damaged
Zinc plating creates a protective barrier against oxidation, with zinc oxide forming a passive layer that further shields the metal. Unlike iron oxide, this layer doesn't compromise the screw's structural integrity.
Supplied in a convenient ForgePack for easy storage and handling.
