ForgeFix Machine Screws ZP M5 x 20mm, Pozi Pan Head, Pack of 15
Zinc-plated Pozi-compatible machine screws for DIY & trade use, pack of 15. Ideal for sheet materials.
The ForgeFix Machine Screws ZP M5 x 20mm feature a Pozi-compatible pan head design with a flat under-head surface, making them ideal for laying flat on sheet materials to reduce deformation. These screws are zinc plated for enhanced corrosion resistance, ensuring durability in various environments.
Zinc plating prevents oxidation by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if the coating is damaged. This process helps maintain the integrity of the screw over time, similar to the protection offered by oxide layers on aluminium and stainless steel.
