ForgeFix M8 x 25mm Flat Penny Washers, Zinc Plated, Pack of 20
ForgeFix M8 x 25mm zinc plated flat penny washers, pack of 20, for corrosion-resistant bolting applications.
The ForgeFix M8 x 25mm Flat Penny Washers are designed for durability and corrosion resistance, featuring a bright zinc plating that enhances their longevity. Named for their resemblance to an old penny in size, these washers provide a smooth bearing surface for nuts or bolts, reducing the likelihood of loosening due to uneven fastening surfaces.
Washers play a crucial role in distributing the load under a bolt head or nut face, ensuring a more secure and stable connection. The zinc plating not only forms a protective barrier against oxidation but also acts as a sacrificial anode if the barrier is damaged, offering long-term protection. Zinc oxide, which forms as a fine white dust, does not compromise the substrate's surface integrity, ensuring continued protection over time.
These washers are versatile and can be used with all types of bolts and nuts, making them suitable for a wide range of bolting applications. They come in a convenient ForgePack of 20, ensuring you always have spares on hand for your projects.
