ForgeFix Nyloc Hex Nut M5 Zinc-Plated, Pack of 100
Vibration-resistant M5 Nyloc nuts with zinc plating. Pack of 100 for secure permanent fastenings on bolts and threaded rods.
The ForgeFix Nyloc Hexagon Nut with Nylon Insert is a high-performance locking fastener designed to provide secure, vibration-resistant connections. These zinc-plated nuts feature an innovative nylon insert that firmly grips bolt threads when tightened, preventing loosening even under constant vibration or movement - making them far superior to standard lock washers.
The hexagon shape ensures excellent torque transfer when used with a wrench (spanner), while the zinc plating provides enhanced corrosion resistance. The plating forms both a protective barrier and acts as a sacrificial anode if scratched, with the zinc oxide layer maintaining protection without degrading the metal substrate.
