ForgeFix Nyloc Nuts & Washers, Zinc Plated, M8, Pack of 12
Secure, vibration-resistant ForgeFix Nyloc nuts, zinc plated M8 size in pack of 12. Ideal for permanent fastenings.
The ForgeFix Nyloc Hexagonal Nuts feature a built-in nylon component that ensures a secure, vibration-resistant fastening. Unlike standard locking washers, these nuts have a smaller internal diameter in the nylon insert, which grips the bolt threads tightly when tightened, preventing loosening even under intense vibration.
Constructed from high-quality zinc-plated steel, these nuts offer excellent corrosion resistance. The zinc plating acts as both a protective barrier and a sacrificial anode, ensuring long-lasting durability even in harsh environments. The hexagonal shape is designed for optimal wrench (spanner) grip, allowing for excellent torque application during installation.
Applications
These nuts are ideal for any application where a permanent, vibration-resistant fastening is required. They are compatible with a variety of bolt types, including HT bolts, carriage bolts, and threaded rods.
