The ForgeFix Spectre™ PZ Wood Screw is an advanced multi-purpose screw that combines premium features for superior performance in wood applications. Designed with a countersunk, Pozi-compatible recessed head, these screws ensure secure fastening and a flush finish.
These screws are fully threaded up to 50mm, featuring a sawtooth thread to prevent splitting, and a reamer to reduce jacking (on lengths 50mm and above). The surface-hardened Type 17 slash point allows for quick starts and optimal penetration.
Corrosion Resistance
The screws undergo a zinc yellow passivation process, which offers excellent rust resistance while providing an aesthetically pleasing finish—ideal for visible applications. This process is similar to galvanising but includes a yellow dye for enhanced durability and appearance.
