The ForgeFix Spectre™ PZ Compatible Wood Screws incorporate advanced features typically found in premium screws, making them ideal for a wide range of woodworking applications. These advanced multi-purpose wood screws provide superior performance and reliability.
Featuring a countersunk Pozidrive-compatible recessed head, these screws ensure a flush finish and easy driving. The fully threaded design (up to 50mm) includes a sawtooth thread to prevent wood splitting and a reamer for applications exceeding 50mm, preventing jacking. The quick-start Type 17 slash point allows for effortless entry into materials.
Zinc yellow passivated finish provides excellent corrosion resistance, similar to galvanised or zinc-plated coatings but with an added aesthetic yellow dye. This CE-approved screw is suitable for load-bearing timber construction, ensuring safety and durability in demanding applications.
