ForgeFix TechFast Timber-to-Steel CSK Wing Screws 5.5x80mm, Box of 100
ForgeFix TechFast screws for timber-to-steel joining. Fire resistant with breakaway wings and TORX drive. 5.5x80mm pack of 100.
The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specially designed to create secure joins between timber and steel frame buildings. These innovative screws feature breakaway wings that first create a clearance hole when drilling through timber, protecting the thread from premature engagement. Upon contacting the metal surface, the wings break off to allow the thread to engage with the steel securely.
These high-performance screws incorporate a TORX® compatible insert for superior power transmission during installation. The recessed ribs provide improved countersinking, ensuring a flush and professional finish every time.
