The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specially designed for secure joining of timber to steel frame buildings. Featuring innovative breakaway wings, these screws create a clearance hole during installation to protect the thread from engaging the timber prematurely. The wings ream the hole and break off upon contact with the metal surface, allowing the thread to properly engage with the metal.
These screws are equipped with a TORX® compatible insert, ensuring a higher power transmission for easier and more efficient installation. The countersinking is improved with recessed ribs for a flush and professional finish.
