ForgeFix Masonry Anchor Bolt, Projecting ZYP, M12 x 75mm, Pack of 5
Heavy-duty ForgeFix M12 masonry anchor bolts (ZYP-coated) for wall plates, lighting & bracketry. Corrosion-resistant & easy to reposition.
The ForgeFix Masonry Anchor Projection Bolts in Zinc Yellow Passivated (ZYP) finish provide exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. These bolts are designed for heavy-duty fixing applications, featuring a four-way expansion shield for robust anchorage and a retaining spring to ensure proper wedge encapsulation during expansion. Their projecting design allows for easier fixture removal or adjustment, as the bolt remains secured within the shield.
Applications
Ideal for securing reinforcement wall plates, lighting supports, guy ropes, and bracketry. For best results, always use the correct socket drive or spanner during installation to ensure precise and secure fitting.
Material and Coating
The Zinc Yellow Passivation finish is applied via an electroplating process similar to galvanisation, enhanced with a yellow dye. This not only improves aesthetics but also delivers superior corrosion resistance, making it reliable for long-term use in challenging environments.
Selection Guidance
When choosing masonry anchors, consider the material thickness you are fixing (e.g., an 'M6' size bolt paired with a '10' denotes a 10mm maximum material thickness). The ForgeFix M12 x 75mm bolts are optimised for heavy-duty applications, ensuring strong and permanent fixtures in masonry.
